My flight changed. What do I do first?
Start with the airline. Then make the next few hours simpler.
Different problem? See all urgent travel directionsThe airline is the first stop.
Use the operating airline’s official app, website, or airport desk. A search result, travel-site page, or unexpected caller may not have the current answer.
Four simple steps
Open the operating airline’s official app or website.
Check the new flight, gate, and connection there first. The airline makes rebooking, bag, voucher, and airport-assistance decisions.
Save the new plan before you close it.
Write down or take a screenshot of the flight number, time, gate, and connection. Keep any old plan until you know the new one works.
Ask for one concrete thing if you need airport help.
At the airline desk or gate, ask for wheelchair help, a slower route, gate guidance, or help with a connection. Say what would help right now.
Keep essentials with you when possible.
Keep medication, mobility aids, your phone charger, and anything you need for the next several hours close to you.
A changed flight can attract scammers.
Ternly will not call unless you asked for a callback and know why. If an unexpected caller says they are an airline or Ternly, hang up and start over through an official website or app.
Learn how to recognize a real contactCommon questions
Can Ternly change my flight?
No. The operating airline controls rebooking, bags, vouchers, and airport assistance. After you have the airline’s current plan, you can send Ternly a short request for help making the next step clearer. Ternly reviews it before confirming whether it can help.
What if I booked through a travel website?
For a last-minute disruption, start with the operating airline because it controls the flight. Keep your booking information available, but do not send it in an unexpected text or message.
What if someone calls or texts about my changed flight?
Do not share a sign-in code, card number, passport detail, or booking code. Do not call the number back. Use the airline’s official app or website, or a Ternly route you already trust.
Still need help with the next step?
Once you have checked the airline's current plan, send Ternly a short private request. Ternly reviews it before confirming whether it can help.
